Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide patient service by answering questions regarding medications and pharmacy services. Maintain inventory of medications, ensuring proper storage and handling. Prepare IV infusions and other sterile products following aseptic techniques. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care. Document medication administration and maintain accurate patient records. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the pharmacy environment. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with pharmacy practices. Requirements Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration processes and medical terminology. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and IV infusion preparation. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
