variable_ Position Summary The Pharmacy Technician is an exciting staff-level opportunity at MultiCare, assisting in manipulative and non-discretionary functions of the practice of pharmacy. In this role, you will apply your organizational skills and attention to detail for successful daily work operations. Responsibilities You will assist in ordering of supplies from wholesaler and direct accounts, and verifies items received against invoices
You will store items received and assist in maintaining stock levels, to include dating and initialing invoices and/or packing slips upon receipt
You will enter customer's medication and billing information into computer system
You will answer and screen telephone calls and forwards as needed
You will perform extemporaneous compounding under pharmacist supervision Requirements High school diploma or GED
Current Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the Washington State Department of Health
Successful completion of National Pharmacy Technician Certification Program (preferred)
If required to drive a MHS vehicle, a driver's license is required. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $28.25 - $46.70 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
