Role:
Join Skilled Nursing Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician and play a vital role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care. Located in Vancouver, WA, we are dedicated to providing specialized medication management for our skilled nursing facilities, ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently. Assist pharmacists in managing medication therapy and patient consultations. Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventory. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and nursing staff. Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols. Participate in continuous education and training programs. Support the pharmacy team in daily operations and workflow.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification preferred. Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in long-term care. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication management. Valid pharmacy technician license in Washington state. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
