PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - INPATIENT PHARMACY
Aspirus Medford Hospital, Medford, WI Part Time (.6 FTE, 48 hours every pay period) Primarily Weekday Day shifts, every third weekend A Pharmacy Technician I plays a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations across hospital or retail settings. This position will report to the Pharmacy Manager or Supervisor and will operate under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This role will assist in the preparation, distribution, and delivery of medications, maintain inventory, perform clerical duties, and utilize pharmacy technology and patient record systems. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience that contributes directly to patient safety and satisfaction while offering opportunities for growth and development. Experience/Qualifications High School diploma, GED or equivalent or be participating in a Wisconsin Sponsored Pharmacy Tech Youth Apprentice program and be at least 16 years of age required. Customer Service Experience required . Prior experience in healthcare or pharmacy setting. Comfortable with technology and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred .
Wisconsin:
Pharmacy Technician Registration application must be completed before first day and fully obtained within six (6) months and continuously maintained by employee required .
