Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries at the customer service window. Replace returned medication to appropriate storage areas. Monitor par levels, reorder, and restock controlled substances as required. Act as a resource for fundamental pharmacy technicians. Participate directly in the training of new pharmacy technicians. Essential Skills Pharmacy technician certification (preferred) Familiarity with pharmacy operations, including filling prescriptions. Compounding experience preferred Wisconsin pharmacy technician license/registration 1 year of pharmacy experience Work Environment Schedule is a combination of varied shifts between 1st and 2nd shift, must have flexibility. Will have schedule 6 weeks in advanced. Will work weekend rotation of every third weekend. Currently have 32 hours per 2 weeks and 64 hours per two weeks available. This role offers an opportunity to learn and advance the Pharmacy Career Ladder, progressing from Compound Pharm Tech to Sterile Comp Tech, Sr Pharm Tech, and eventually to Sterile Products Technician Specialist. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $24.50/hr.
