Bluestone Health Association Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities throughout southern West Virginia. As a part of our continued growth, we are excited to expand our pharmacy services and are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative healthcare team focused on improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve. The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in providing safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations in accordance with federal and state regulations, organizational policies, and quality standards.

Job Duties:
Assist pharmacists in the preparation, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of medications. Support compliance with the
HRSA 340B
Drug Pricing Program by following established policies and procedures for medication inventory management, documentation, eligible patient identification, and record maintenance. Assis in maintaining accurate records necessary for 340B program compliance, inventory accountability, audits, and regulatory reporting. Accurately enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy management system. Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA compliance with medication profiles to ensure proper medication administration. Provide courteous and professional patient care and customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns related to medications. collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management. Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice. Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring timely reordering as necessary. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance pharmacy skills and knowledge. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Proficient in medical terminology relevant to pharmacy practice. strong understanding to acute care environments and patient service principles. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
