Job Title Pay Range:
$22.85hr - $24.26hr Requirement/Must Have Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric. Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime. High school diploma or equivalent required.Medical training:
medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Minimum of 6 months experience required. One+ years phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience a must. Responsibilities Represent the face of the organization to patients who come in for health routines or life-defining health decisions. Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. Maintain direct contact with patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures. Draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner. Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality. Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintain required records and documentation. Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Nice To Have Medical assistant or paramedic training. Phlebotomy certification.
