Job Description

AWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Mobile Phlebotomist to support our team at Acutis. We are a fast-growing clinical laboratory. We pride ourselves on providing expert, accurate, and concise results as a product of our highly talented and passionate team of professionals. The Mobile Phlebotomist will travel to patients' homes to collect blood samples and other specimens and then transport these samples to our laboratory for testing. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages and documents to their designated locations. Scope of work:
Collect blood specimens on patients through venipuncture Obtain blood according to proper procedure with minimal bruising to patient Label tubes appropriately with initials, date and time Prepare specimens for shipment to testing lab(s) Complete requisition forms accurately, register patients and perform order entry accurately Properly instruct patients in self-collection (example: clean catch urines) Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner Scan documents into the medical record Secure patient signature on consent and applicable documents Transport supplies and specimens from one location to another Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and other details Communicate with dispatchers and patients to coordinate delivery/pick up details Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Experience:
Six-months to one year phlebotomy experience including pediatrics venipuncture and micro-collection, required Minimum 6 months of experience in geriatric blood draws. Minimum 6 months of experience in working with elderly patients.
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent, required Required License /
Credentials:
Active Phlebotomy License, preferred
Other Required Skills:
Excellent customer relations skills; math, verbal, and written skills at high school level. Good communication skills
Contact With Others:
Regular internal and /or external contacts involving considerable tact, discretion, and persuasion in order to obtain information and/or willing action or consent where it would otherwise be difficult to obtain.
Route Navigation :
Familiarity with route driving and navigating different locations
Driving Record :
Must have a clean driving record; record must be provided at agreement for project.
Pay Information:
$65- $135 per day plus, plus mileage expenses
