Job Description
CNA or Phlebotomist (Part-Time / On-Call, 1099) Flagstaff, AZ Job Type Part-time On-call Contract (1099) Pay $75 per blood draw (or attempted draw) Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Phlebotomist to perform on-site blood draws for employee volunteers in a professional setting. The role typically requires being on-site 2-5 times per month , with each visit lasting approximately 15 minutes to 1 hour . Most visits involve drawing blood from one individual , though occasionally more may be required. Responsibilities Perform safe and accurate venous blood draws Ensure proper patient identification and adherence to all protocols Maintain a high level of patient care, comfort, and professionalism Handle and label specimens appropriately Follow all safety, sanitation, and confidentiality guidelines Enter basic information into a computer system as needed Communicate any concerns related to patient health or procedures Schedule 2-5 visits per month Weekdays only (Monday-Friday) Availability required between 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM Each visit typically lasts 15 minutes to 1 hour Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Phlebotomist, Phlebotomy Technician, or CNA with blood draw experience Strong venipuncture skills and proper technique Knowledge of patient identification procedures Understanding of legal and safety requirements for blood collection and specimen handling Attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills for data entry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to make patients feel comfortable in a clinical setting Patience and strong situational awareness Diploma in Phlebotomy or equivalent hands-on experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with blood donation organizations such as American Red Cross or Vitalant Current certification and/or licensure Work Location In-person (Flagstaff, AZ)
