Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Entry Level Phlebotomist to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for collecting biological specimens from patients while also supporting clinical trial activities. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, patient-focused professional with experience in both phlebotomy and clinical research coordination.
Key Responsibilities Phlebotomy & Specimen Collection:
Collect blood, tissue, and other biological fluid samples from patients and research participants in accordance with clinical and research protocols. Prepare, label, and process specimens for testing, shipping, or storage according to study and laboratory requirements. Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain specimen integrity throughout the collection and handling process. Maintain phlebotomy supplies and equipment; monitor inventory and reorder as needed.
General Responsibilities:
Follow all safety, privacy, and compliance protocols, including HIPAA and research-related confidentiality standards. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas. Communicate effectively with clinical staff, research coordinators, investigators, and patients. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification strongly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and biospecimen handling. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively. Compassionate and professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
