Job Description

Description Northland Pioneer College is looking for a Temporary Testing Proctor to assist the Testing Center with oversight of exams performed at the College. Examples of Duties Proctor High Stakes and Low Stakes exams at various NPC campuses. Obtain Proctor Certifications for Pearson Vue, CLEP, Prometrics and other required qualifications. Provide outstanding customer service while monitoring student testing in the testing lab, library, and or classrooms. Maintain exam integrity by using proper protocols, identity checks, individual searches, and testing materials security. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times. Maintain labs in a clean and organized condition. Sanitize computer equipment after each use, including headsets. Display directional signs outside the lab during open lab hours. Maintain records of activities undertaken in the computer labs, which includes tracking student usage. Enforce testing policies. Secure and log "lost and found" items. Troubleshoot and diagnose basic problems with computer equipment. Report other computer and equipment problems to the Support Center when needed. Work productively with limited supervision. Retain and submit required documentation after. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Skills Required:
Basic computer, filing, and math skills. Must have a positive attitude, a willingness to help others, and the ability to interact with professionalism when using the telephone and during in-person interactions. Ability to get along well with staff, as well as both internal and external customers. Attention to detail Ability to follow verbal and written directions. Meet requirements of high confidentiality.
