HealthScope is a fast-growing lab provider dedicated to delivering accessible and patient-centric care. Our team is committed to innovation, compassion, and excellence in every interaction. We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable in-office phlebotomist to support a healthcare practice and their patients.
Position Summary:
The In-Office Phlebotomist plays a critical role in ensuring a positive and safe experience for patients during specimen collection. This position is responsible for performing venipunctures and other specimen collection procedures in accordance with established protocols and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is skilled, professional, and comfortable working in a busy clinical environment. This Job is Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform blood draws and other specimen collection techniques using proper protocols Label specimens accurately and process according to laboratory requirements Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance Track and record specimen data Maintain inventory of phlebotomy supplies and request restocks as needed Provide excellent customer service and patient care Communicate effectively with providers, lab staff, and administrative teams
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited program (CPT, PBT, or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience Strong knowledge of phlebotomy best practices, safety procedures, and specimen handling Experience with EMR systems preferred Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills CPR/BLS certification preferred Must live in or be willing to travel to

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
