East Bay (Oakland, Richmond, and surrounding Bay Area) • In-person / mobile field role
Pay:
$18-$20 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Fixed hours (8.45a to 4.45p) Monday to Friday, and extra hours based on on-site. About Us Fastest Labs provides fast, accurate, and reliable drug, alcohol, and DNA testing for employers and individuals across the East Bay. We support post-accident, random, pre-employment, and reasonable-suspicion testing with rapid turnaround and a no-hassle, professional experience our clients count on. Role Overview We're seeking dependable Mobile Onsite Specimen Collectors to perform drug, alcohol, and DNA collections at client locations and designated sites. This is a field-based role that requires travel throughout the East Bay and nearby areas, with daytime, evening, and overnight assignments as needed. Key Responsibilities Perform compliant urine, oral fluid, hair, and breath alcohol collections per federal, DOT, and company protocols Conduct DNA collections (e.g., buccal swabs) with strict chain-of-custody and identity verification Respond to post-accident and after-hours calls with urgency and professionalism Complete all documentation accurately in electronic systems; maintain clear, timely communication with dispatch and clients Safeguard specimen integrity from collection to handoff; prepare and ship specimens as required Uphold client confidentiality, safety standards, and infection-control practices Represent Fastest Labs with excellent customer service at every visit What Makes You a Great Fit Enthusiastic self-starter with strong initiative Detail-oriented and precise; follows procedures flawlessly Dependable, punctual, and accountable under time pressure Excellent communicator with a calm, confident, and professional demeanor Strong customer-service mindset and problem-solving skills
Tech-savvy:
comfortable with smartphones/tablets, apps, email, and online portals Adaptable and eager to learn new processes and certifications Safety-focused and discreet; maintains professionalism in sensitive situations Able to work independently in the field and manage multiple assignments Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in specimen collection (urine, hair, nail, buccal swab) Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for local travel Availability for day, evening, night, and weekend call-outs as scheduled Computer literate; able to complete electronic chain-of-custody and reporting BAT (Breath Alcohol Technician) certification preferred; willing to obtain if not current DOT urine collector qualification preferred; willing to obtain if not current Ability to lift and transport collection supplies and equipment as needed High school diploma or equivalent Professional appearance and adherence to confidentiality standards (HIPAA where applicable) Nice-to-Have DNA buccal swab collection experience Hair and oral fluid collection experience Existing DOT and/or BAT certifications Compensation & Training $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
