In this energetic and rewarding position, you will travel to patient locations, including homes, clinics, and hospitals, to perform blood draws and specimen collections with precision and care. Your expertise will ensure accurate sample collection, proper handling, and seamless communication with healthcare providers, all while providing exceptional patient service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on patient health outcomes while enjoying the flexibility of mobile work. Duties Travel to patient locations to perform blood sampling and specimen collection efficiently and professionally Obtain accurate patient information and vital signs prior to specimen collection Use aseptic techniques and adhere to strict safety protocols during venipuncture and blood sampling procedures Handle, label, and process specimens according to laboratory standards to ensure integrity and accuracy Maintain detailed documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, including data entry of patient information and specimen details Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort during collection Follow laboratory procedures, techniques, and safety guidelines diligently to uphold quality standards in medical laboratory work Qualifications Proven experience in laboratory procedures, venipuncture, phlebotomy, or clinical laboratory work Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and laboratory techniques necessary for specimen collection Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required Prior hospital or healthcare facility experience preferred; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely when handling supplies or specimens; physical stamina for standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care across diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics Excellent attention to detail for accurate data entry, specimen handling, and documentation of vital signs Knowledge of aseptic techniques and blood sampling protocols to prevent contamination or errors Embark on a fulfilling career that combines technical expertise with compassionate patient interaction.
