The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of laboratory techniques and patient care, ensuring the highest quality of service in blood sampling and venipuncture procedures. As a Certified Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in the clinical laboratory environment, contributing to patient health and safety through accurate blood collection and analysis. Duties Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and care. Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood sampling. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during all procedures. Collect, label, and transport blood samples to the laboratory for analysis. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after blood collection. Record vital signs and relevant patient information accurately in medical records. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Stay updated on laboratory techniques and advancements in phlebotomy practices. Skills Proficient in laboratory techniques related to blood sampling and analysis. Strong ability to phlebotomize with attention to detail and patient comfort.
