This position offers the opportunity to work independently in the community, providing essential laboratory services directly at patients' homes, clinics, or healthcare facilities. Your energetic and compassionate approach will ensure a positive experience for every patient while supporting our mission to improve health outcomes through reliable laboratory testing. Responsibilities Perform blood sampling and venipuncture procedures with precision and care, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Collect various specimens including blood, urine, or other bodily fluids, ensuring proper labeling and handling for laboratory processing. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to assist in patient assessment. Follow established laboratory procedures and techniques to ensure specimen integrity and accurate test results. Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns compassionately, and maintaining patient comfort throughout the process. Maintain detailed documentation of all collection activities, specimen processing steps, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers and laboratory staff to ensure timely delivery of specimens and accurate reporting of results. Skills Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and specimen collection protocols. Proven laboratory experience with a focus on clinical laboratory practices and venipuncture skills. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate medical terminology clearly and empathetically. Familiarity with physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to blood sampling and specimen collection. Experience working in hospital or clinical settings with an understanding of infection control practices such as aseptic technique. Ability to operate medical equipment related to blood sampling and vital signs measurement accurately. Demonstrated professionalism in patient service environments with a commitment to safety, accuracy, and confidentiality.
