The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient or inpatient settings, with a strong focus on patient care. This role is essential for supporting our medical staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services, particularly in and urgent care environments. The Medical Assistant will work closely with patients, ensuring their comfort and providing them with the necessary support during their visits. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Manage patient flow within the clinic to ensure efficient operations. Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical supplies. Uphold a clean and safe environment in accordance with health regulations. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient or inpatient setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice. Certified Phlebotomist Hours of operation Weekedays 8 am - 7pm Weekends 8am - 2pm Part Time/ Per diem. Looking for weekdays and weekends.
