Health Screener

Health Fairs Direct is a leader in the corporate health and wellbeing space. We offer onsite medical screenings, including finger-stick biometrics, blood pressure, and a variety of other services tending to the corporate world. We anticipate future business in your area and have started the pre-screening process for

EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS.

Screening events are typically scheduled Monday through Friday with variable hours. The position is a 1099 independent contractor position. This is not a part-time or full-time position.

Candidates must have:

Previous health screening experience a MUST You must be able to check a manual/automatic blood pressure Use CardioChek analyzer to check glucose and cholesterol A1c Testing Determine Body Fat percentage / BMI using a handheld machine (Omron) Know how to take biometric measurements (height, weight, and waist circumference)

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of medical terminology and health education Know how to handle other medical equipment (dermascan, bone density) Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy policy and procedures Must be able to multi-task Basic understanding of computers, ability to navigate a simple online portal to input invoices and sign contracted events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Associates degree in a medical, health, or fitness related field Nursing degree, nursing students, EMT/Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist with appropriate current certification /licensure in the state of practice Current First Aid/CPR certification or equivalent training Liability insurance preferred Health Fairs Direct has been specializing in corporate health and wellness programs nationally since 1997.
