Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Mobile Phlebotomist, where your expertise in blood collection and patient care will make a meaningful difference in people's lives. In this energetic role, you will travel to various patient locations to perform blood sampling with precision and compassion. Your dedication to excellent patient service and adherence to laboratory procedures will ensure accurate specimen collection and processing, supporting vital diagnostic processes. Duties Travel to patient locations, including homes, or community sites, to perform blood draws and specimen collection. Obtain high-quality blood samples using venipuncture and blood sampling techniques while maintaining strict aseptic procedures. Accurately identify patients, verify orders, and record vital signs as needed to ensure proper sample labeling and handling. Follow laboratory procedures for specimen processing, handling, and transportation to ensure specimen integrity. Provide exceptional patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout the process. Maintain detailed documentation of collection activities, including patient information, sample details, and chain of custody records. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and aseptic techniques. Requirements Proven experience in laboratory procedures, phlebotomy, or clinical laboratory settings with a focus on blood sampling. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and laboratory techniques relevant to specimen collection. Demonstrated ability to perform venipuncture accurately and efficiently while maintaining patient care standards. Experience working in hospital or healthcare environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and care; ability to communicate clearly and compassionately. Ability to travel frequently between multiple locations with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Pay:
