Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines clinical support with administrative coordination, ensuring seamless patient experiences and efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical procedures, excellent patient service skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care across clinic settings, including hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, and therapeutic peptides. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories, collecting payments, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate with accuracy and professionalism Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, SQ and IM injections, phlebotomy, and IV experience is a plus. Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, and coordinating follow-up care. Support documentation processes by maintaining detailed medical records and charting. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit. Experience Prior experience working in clinic setting with knowledge in Hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss and/or therapeutic peptides is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pharmacology Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks such as intake processing and appointment scheduling. Familiarity with inpatient care procedures including phlebotomy, blood donation, and IV administration helpful. Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and compassionate patient interactions. Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
