We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician and IV Certified person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations by performing various tasks related to specimen collection, processing, and analysis. Admin IV's and Medication for IV's. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high standards of patient care. Duties Must have IV Certification and Phlebotomy certification please DO NOT apply if you don't have. Perform phlebotomy procedures for blood sampling, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Collect and process specimens according to established laboratory protocols. Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during specimen collection and handling. Conduct routine laboratory procedures, including testing and analysis of samples. Monitor vital signs as required during patient interactions. Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing activities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and communication. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory environment. Stay updated on laboratory procedures and best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Experience Must have Previous experience in a laboratory setting . Familiarity with specimen collection processing and laboratory procedures is advantageous. Knowledge of physiology and patient care principles is beneficial for effective interaction with patients. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
