Job Description
Busy Hematology Oncology practice has opportunity available for experienced Lab Tech / Medical Assistant. Knowledge of EHR, and minimum of one years experience in lab role with ability to perform venipunctures. Experience in Oncology preferred, but not required. Responsibilities may include but not limited to: draw blood/collect samples, receive label and analyze samples, design and execute lab testing according to standard procedures, observe and interpret findings, organize and store chemicals substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions, records data and results in specified forms with accuracy, ensure related reports, labs and information is available in medical records. Medical Assistant responsibilities include administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider. This is a full time opportunity with competitive benefits.
