Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician / Phlebotomist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform precise laboratory procedures and patient specimen collection to support accurate diagnostics and patient care. Your expertise will ensure the integrity of samples, adherence to safety protocols, and delivery of exceptional patient service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to patient health outcomes while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Collect blood samples through venipuncture and skin puncture techniques, ensuring patient comfort and safety Prepare and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing, following strict protocols and aseptic techniques Perform routine laboratory procedures including blood sampling, specimen labeling, and documentation Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assist in patient assessment Maintain thorough records of all specimen collection activities and laboratory tests performed Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards, infection control policies, and quality assurance measures Provide compassionate patient care by explaining procedures clearly and addressing patient concerns professionally Requirements Proven experience with laboratory procedures, techniques, and specimen processing in a clinical or hospital setting Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques Skilled in venipuncture (blood sampling) and phlebotomy with demonstrated proficiency in blood collection methods Familiarity with laboratory equipment, specimen handling, and laboratory safety protocols Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations Previous hospital or clinical laboratory experience is highly preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Join us in making a difference through precise diagnostics and compassionate patient care!
