Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Mobile Phlebotomist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care right at their doorstep! In this energetic role, you will travel to various patient locations to perform blood sampling and specimen collection with precision and compassion. Your expertise will ensure accurate laboratory testing and contribute to timely diagnoses, all while providing a positive experience for every patient you serve. Responsibilities Travel to patient residences, clinics, or other designated sites to perform blood draws and specimen collection efficiently and safely Obtain accurate patient information, vital signs, and medical history relevant to laboratory procedures Use proper aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols during specimen collection Ensure proper labeling, handling, and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient interactions, and sample tracking in compliance with healthcare regulations Educate patients about the blood collection process, addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy Follow all laboratory techniques and physiology knowledge to ensure high-quality sample collection and patient care Qualifications Proven experience in phlebotomy, venipuncture, or blood sampling within a clinical or hospital setting Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, techniques, and medical terminology Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to blood vessels and venipuncture sites Prior experience working with patients in diverse environments, demonstrating excellent patient service skills Ability to perform venipuncture safely using aseptic technique while maintaining patient comfort Familiarity with vital signs measurement and basic clinical laboratory practices Valid certification in phlebotomy or related field preferred; relevant hospital or clinical laboratory experience highly valued Embark on a career that combines mobility with meaningful patient interactions!
