Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant Quantum LS Clinical Research Miramar, FL Job Details Temporary | Part-time | PRN | Contract | Per diem $35 - $40 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Vascular access CPR Certification Research ethical considerations BLS Certification Attention to detail Biological sampling Implementing research protocols IATA Certification Full Job Description Clinical Research Phlebotomist / Biospecimen Collection Specialist - PRN/Contract Job Description Seeking an experienced Clinical Research Phlebotomist/ Medical Assistant to support clinical research and biospecimen collection projects on an as-needed basis. Position may eventually lead to a full time position. The ideal candidate has prior clinical research experience and is comfortable independently performing specimen collection, processing, documentation, storage, and shipment according to study protocols and laboratory manuals.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Consenting Study Participants Perform venipuncture and other protocol-required biospecimen collections Collect and handle blood, urine, saliva and other biological specimens as required by individual studies Process specimens, including centrifugation and aliquoting , when required Accurately label, document, store and prepare specimens for shipment Follow study-specific laboratory manuals, collection kits and chain-of-custody procedures Maintain accurate specimen and temperature documentation Coordinate specimen packaging and courier/shipping pickups Prior clinical research experience required Strong phlebotomy/biospecimen collection experience Current GCP certification Current Human Subjects Protection (HSP/HRP) certification Current IATA certification for biological specimen shipping Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow research protocols

Project-based/as needed; hours may vary depending on study enrollment and collection schedules.
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 16.0 per week
