Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
• Provide patient education on various medical conditions and treatment plans
• Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, filing documents, and updating patient charts

Requirements:

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist from an accredited program
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
• Proficiency in medication administration techniques
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
• Knowledge of coding systems for medical billing is desirable
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
