Job Description

Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Provide patient education on various medical conditions and treatment plans
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, filing documents, and updating patient charts
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Knowledge of coding systems for medical billing is desirable
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
