Job Description
Department Pre Admission Testing Job Summary Responsible for performing all phlebotomist duties including routine blood collection on appropriate age groups. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients' in assigned area. PAT is a busy team-oriented department that helps prepare patients for surgery/invasive procedures. Duties in PAT
- phlebotomy, EKG's, stocking supplies, transporting patients, answering phones, making appointments and help maintain a clean & safe environment.
Workdays/Shift/Start Time:
1 Fulltime position available currently Offering 8, 9, & 10-hr shifts. Hour's variable between 05-1730. No weekends or holidays.Salary Details:
Hourly rate is determined by years of experience relating to this role and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $17.70, max of salary range is $24.80. Required Qualifications- Require graduate of a vocational program in phlebotomy or three (3) months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer demonstrated ability to interact successfully with patients, staff and other healthcare providers and excellent communication skills.
- Prefer demonstrated knowledge of all relevant computer skills as needed for patient ID system and specimen processing functions.
- Prefer the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Prefer successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test.
- Bilingual is a plus
Mandatory Education HS EQ:
High School Diploma, GED or Certificate Preferred License and Certs FDL:
