In-Person Our Growing Team is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our expanding healthcare team in Lakewood Ranch. As a fast-growing practice serving both urgent care walk-in patients and primary care patients, we are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a welcoming environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Assistant who enjoys working in a dynamic clinical setting and values teamwork, professionalism, and outstanding patient service. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints Assist providers during examinations and procedures Perform venipuncture, injections, specimen collection, and basic laboratory procedures Observe, document, and communicate patient symptoms and concerns to providers Maintain accurate patient records within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Prepare, clean, and stock examination rooms and medical equipment Provide basic first aid and assist with patient care as needed Administrative Duties Answer incoming telephone tasks and return patient messages Assist with referrals, imaging orders, lab requisitions, medication refills, etc. Maintain excellent communication & documentation with patients, providers, and team members Support daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting Medical Assistant Certification preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of certification) Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Strong verbal, written, and computer communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Preferred Experience Urgent Care Family Practice / Primary Care Emergency Medicine Alternative or Integrative Medicine Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR is a plus Schedule Our clinic is open: Monday•

8:00 AM•8:00
PM Saturday:
8:00 AM•5:00
PM Sunday:
Closed Part-time and full-time employees must have open availability to work scheduled shifts during all office operating hours. Employees are required to work 1-2 Saturdays per month.
