Job Description
Overview:
If you like being on the road, being your own boss, and making your own hours this may be your job. We are seeking a skilled Part Time Mobile Phlebotomist to join our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for blood collection at various locations, centrifuging, and couriering blood to different labs and shipping locationsDuties:
- Conduct venipuncture to collect blood samples
- Perform specimen collection processing and labeling
- Maintain accurate records of patient information
- Ensure proper handling and transportation of specimens
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines during procedures
- Provide exceptional patient service and maintain a high level of professionalism
- Willing to travel between Pinellas and Hillsborough counties
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:- Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and venipuncture procedures, a minimum of 5yr. experience preferred.
- Experience working as a mobile phlebotomist
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen handling
