SIMEDHealth's Lady Lake laboratory is seeking an energetic and skilled Full-Time Phlebotomist to join our high-volume team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about providing excellent patient care, we want to hear from you! In this role, you'll be a vital part of our laboratory, directly interacting with patients to collect specimens with accuracy and care. Your ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service is essential in our busy setting.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Performing venipuncture on patients with precision and care. Collecting urine samples according to established protocols. Conducting drug screens accurately. Efficiently entering patient information into our computer system. Ensuring the safe and proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste. Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills in all patient interactions. Performing various administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying. Adhering to all patient and staff safety policies and procedures.What You'll Bring:
High School diploma or equivalency. Graduation from an accredited Phlebotomy program. Previous experience with electronic health records. 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory, medical office, or hospital setting (preferred). Comfort working in a high-energy, high-volume environment. Strong venipuncture skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
