Responsibilities:
Performs a range of duties to include but not limited to patient registration, ordering tests, specimen procurement and specimen processing.
Qualifications:
Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Work Experience No experience required Required 1 year Phlebotomist experience Preferred Experience in a hospital Preferred Licenses and Certifications PHEL - Phlebotomy Trained Completion of Phlebotomy clinical training through on-the-job training or through a phlebotomy program Preferred CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency
