Submit your application for the opportunity below: Phlebotomist PRN Job Summary and Qualifications As a Phlebotomist at our facility you will be an integral part of our Laboratory team. We are a highly functioning team that supports many different departments and has a passion for providing the best patient care through compassionate, professional interactions and reliable testing.

In this role:

• You will collect blood samples and body fluids from patients for laboratory testing including blood cultures and arterial samples for blood gas analysis.
• You will register specimens and orders tests in LIS and prepare/label samples for internal or external testing.
• You will communicate lab test requests and results to appropriate staff, departments, and/or physicians.
• You will collect and document urine drug screens requiring chain of custody and breath alcohol when required.
• You will assist with in-services or training as assigned.
• You will assist with administrative duties within the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy Certification required.
• One year of phlebotomy experience or equivalent phlebotomy training program.
• Excellent communication/people skills and problem solving skills.
• Computer skills and filing/clerical skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
• Valid driver's license.
