We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced instructor to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Phlebotomy Technician Instructor is responsible for delivering comprehensive training and instruction to students enrolled in our Phlebotomy Technician Program. The instructor will ensure that students gain the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to pass the national certification exam and excel in their roles as Phlebotomist. This position involves teaching theoretical and practical components of the Phlebotomy curriculum, and providing guidance and support to students. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive instruction in phlebotomy, including lecture and hands-on drawing sessions Deliver curriculum content clearly and effectively to ensure student understanding and competency Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment Supervise students during clinical practice to ensure compliance with safety standards Encourage and support students throughout the program to promote successful completion Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Manage onsite inventory and supplies Complete required classroom documentation in accordance with company policies Maintain productive attendance and timeliness for all scheduled classes Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Prior teaching or training experience is preferred. Must be a certified phlebotomist and hold a valid phlebotomy certification. Must have 2 or more years of related experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate students. Proficiency in using technology and educational software for teaching purposes. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success.
Working Conditions:
The Phlebotomy Technician Instructor will work in a classroom and lab setting. May require evening hours to accommodate student schedules. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, demonstrating nursing procedures, and assisting students with hands-on activities.
