Job Description
Mobile Phlebotomist Floater We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and customer-focused Mobile Phlebotomist Floater to join our team. This dynamic role requires adaptability and teamwork, as it involves covering varying routes and potentially shifting schedules to meet business needs. Responsibilities include drawing patient samples, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent service at assigned facilities. The ideal candidate is experienced in venipuncture, demonstrates strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a positive, can-do attitude.
Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed.
Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff to ensure service satisfaction.
Communication and Customer ServiceCommunicate any current or potential customer issues within the assigned territory, offering suggestions for resolution.
Serve as a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable face of PHS laboratory services.
Address all service concerns and respond promptly to requests from staff and facilities.
Documentation and ReportingMaintain detailed records of time worked and mileage.
Assist with correction and missing information requests from Insurance and Billing teams.
Ensure proper documentation for sample collection and reporting.
Other DutiesPerform other job-related duties as assigned by the manager.
Proficiency in venipuncture and a thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for various tests.
Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
Valid drivers license, safe driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and adapt to changing schedules and routes as needed.
Positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to independently resolve problems.
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 20 pounds.
Manual dexterity for handling small instruments and performing precise blood draws.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under high-stress situations.

REQUIREMENTS 3-5
years of mobile phlebotomy experience, preferably within the Nursing Home/LTACH market.Proficiency in venipuncture and a thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for various tests.
Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
Valid drivers license, safe driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and adapt to changing schedules and routes as needed.
Positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to independently resolve problems.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods while performing specimen collectionComfortable driving for extended stretches to various patient locations.Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 20 pounds.
Manual dexterity for handling small instruments and performing precise blood draws.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under high-stress situations.
