$17.00 - $20.00) Job purpose The Non-Certified Medical Aide assists with patient care and helps to keep the flow of duties running smoothly. They must uphold the company's policies and procedures and must always act within ethical boundaries. The Non-Certified Medical Aide must have strong customer service and communication skills. This position is designated as a full-time role. Employees must be able to maintain regular attendance and work a full-time schedule consistent with departmental and organizational needs. Duties and responsibilities Respond to patient flow changes appropriately. Monitor well child and sick visits to ensure patient availability for physician care. Communicate efficiently with nurses and other medical staff to optimize patient flow. Rooming of patients and performing vitals, weight, height, head measurement, hearing and vision tests and documentation, as necessary. Anticipate procedures and provide equipment as instructed by nurse or physician, provide assistance as requested. Complete forms as requested. Cleaning and stocking of exam rooms daily, and as needed. Enter immunization records as needed. Assist with lab collection and requisitions. Maintain nursing work stations. Cooperate with all nursing and front office staff to ensure efficient patient care. Function as part of the team, communicate with all team members. Follow OSHA and HIPAA and practice policies and procedures. Remain calm and professional in all situations. Demonstrate initiative and use time efficiently. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Must be actively pursuing or planning to pursue a career in medicine (e.g., pre-med or medical school interest required) Current Basic Life Support Certification Basic Computer Knowledge Ability to lift 30lbs Standing >50%, Sitting
