Job Description

Valley Medical Group is looking for a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team and work in our Amherst Health Center. If you are looking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!

Amherst, MA Hours:
Per diem, typical hours Monday-Friday generally between 6:30am-5:00pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview. As a Phlebotomist, the candidate must have the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture. A successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills, and be proficient in computers, data entry, and the operation of equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Collecting samples from patients of all ages Processing and accessions of clinical specimens Checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting patients
Required Qualifications:
Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program Previous customer service or medical office experience High School graduate or equivalent
