Job Summary:

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for collecting blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, professional, and comfortable experience while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws (including pediatric and geriatric patients) Prepare and process specimens following standard procedures Maintain accurate records and documentation Ensure a safe and professional environment Provide excellent customer service and build patient trust Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy experience (6+ months required, 1+ year preferred) Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in some states) Strong data entry and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays if needed
