POSITION SUMMARY
The major responsibility of the position is classroom and/or laboratory instruction of students enrolled in a noncredit Phlebotomy Technician program. The instructor is responsible for supervising, instructing, and evaluating students in a hands-on laboratory environment to ensure competency in phlebotomy skills.EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Masters degree preferred, Bachelor degree required in related science field, from an accredited college or university required. Completion of a nationally recognized phlebotomy training program is required.REQUIREMENTS
Current National Phlebotomy Technician Certification in good standing with NHA, AMT, or ASCP. Minimum of two years recent hands-on phlebotomy experience; Demonstrated clinical competence in venipuncture, dermal puncture, and specimen handling; Prior teaching, mentoring, or preceptor experience preferred; Ability to adapt and manage multiple learners in a laboratory setting; Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification; Qualified applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Occasional travel between Quincy and Plymouth campuses and Boston site may be requiredRequirements:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate proper phlebotomy techniques in a laboratory setting; Supervise and monitor students during hands-on skills practice; Enforce infection control, safety, and professional conduct standards; Evaluate student competency and technical skill performance; Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and cleanliness; Maintain attendance and competency documentation; Communicate with program leadership regarding student progress; Participate in required training and faculty meetings; Assume other duties as assigned.Additional Information:
