First Shift:

Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Must have 2+ years of phlebotomy experience on pediatrics to geriatric patients Must have CPT (Nationally Certified Phlebotomist) certification

Position Responsibilities:

Phlebotomist technician with experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc. Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required. Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certification in Phlebotomy (Nationally certified) Minimum of 2 years of work experience performing venipunctures on patients of all age groups (pediatrics to geriatrics). Skills in hard sticks. Specimen processing experience Proficiency using computers and data entry. High School Diploma or GED Must pass a color vision test Must be available to work Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Apply for immediate consideration.
