Phlebotomy Technician Position Summary The Phlebotomy Tech interacts with patients, visitors, and other health care providers to collect, transport and process blood and other body fluids from a full spectrum of the patient population. The Inpatient Phlebotomist participates in educational and training activities and may participate in the performance of routine administrative and non-routine technical functions. Phlebotomy Technician Position Requirements Education Successful completion of an approved training program consisting of both lectures and practical application in phlebotomy or comparable education or experience. Experience One year experience performing similar duties preferred. Phlebotomy Technician Benefits At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
