Job Description

Excellent opportunity for a Nationally Certified Phlebotomist to work with a global life sciences and healthcare company! Shift- 6 AM to 6 PM (hours may vary) Floating position- Mileage Paid Various locations. Must have 2+ years of phlebotomy experience drawing on pediatrics, geriatrics, and hard stick experience.
Position Responsibilities:
Phlebotomist technician with experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc. Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required. Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations. Register patients and general front office duties
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of pediatrics and geriatrics experience willing to travel as needed must have a reliable vehicle, a good driving history and a valid drivers license. Must have a valid phlebotomy certification (National/State certification) High School Diploma or GED Must pass a color vision test Apply for immediate consideration.
Pay:
$22.00 - $23.00 per hour
