Job Description

Duties:
  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients at clinics in surrounding cities.
  • Accession patient samples
  • Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing
  • Follow proper laboratory procedures and protocols
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory area
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and test results
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control protocols
Experience:
  • Phlebotomist certification
  • 2 years phlebotomy experience
  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and labeling
