In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws, specimen collection, and processing, while providing exceptional patient care and support. Your expertise in laboratory procedures, clinical techniques, and patient service will ensure accurate diagnostics and a positive experience for every patient. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient health outcomes in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary puncture, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort Prepare and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing, adhering to aseptic techniques and laboratory protocols Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assist in patient assessment Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures, including patient positioning and documentation of medical history Maintain a clean, organized workspace following infection control standards and laboratory safety procedures Use medical terminology accurately when documenting patient information and lab results Provide compassionate patient service by explaining procedures clearly, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience Experience Prior laboratory experience or clinical laboratory experience is highly preferred Knowledge of laboratory techniques including specimen collection, processing, and handling Hands-on experience with phlebotomy procedures such as venipuncture and blood sampling Familiarity with physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to patient care and specimen collection Experience working in hospital or healthcare settings is advantageous but not required Demonstrated ability to follow aseptic techniques and maintain patient safety standards Join us to make a meaningful difference in patient health!
