Job Description
Phlebotomist Job Title Phlebotomist Job Summary The Phlebotomist position, under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Technical Supervisor, obtains and prepares specimens for analysis and also performs various waived screening tests on neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Assists with lab supply inventory and various clerical duties. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative working relationship with patients, patients families, medical staff, and interdepartmental and intradepartmental personnel. Reports to the Director of Laboratory Services. Compensation We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $18.02

program for BLS certification and complete the requirements within 90 days of enrollment. Must remain current (complete quarterly assignments prior to the end of each calendar quarter). Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently to ensure safe and effective communication in a healthcare environment. Initial Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) within six months. Preferred Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy program Previous experience or education in a health-related field helpful Good interpersonal communication skills Ability to receive and carry out directions Schedule 56 hours per two-week pay period Three overnight shifts one week, followed by four evening shifts the next week. 5:30 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m.
