Duties Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary puncture, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort Prepare and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing, maintaining strict aseptic techniques Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Assist healthcare professionals with clinical procedures, including patient examinations and medical documentation Maintain a clean, organized work environment following infection control protocols and laboratory safety standards Verify patient identities and ensure proper labeling of specimens to prevent errors Provide compassionate patient service by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns Qualifications Proven experience in laboratory procedures, techniques, or clinical laboratory settings Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to blood sampling and patient care Skilled in venipuncture (blood sampling), specimen collection, processing, and handling of laboratory samples Familiarity with hospital or healthcare facility environments is preferred Strong understanding of aseptic technique to prevent contamination or infection during specimen collection Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Join us in making a difference through dedicated patient care and precise laboratory work.
