Job Description

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Charlotte, NC.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 5:00am - 8:00pm with rotating weekends, hours may vary upon location.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of (20+) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's officesManage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessaryCoordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinkingPerform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisalsPartner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actionsHire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positionsCommunicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior managementProvide exceptional customer service to all patients and clientsAssist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client OfficesProvide resolution of any patient or client issuesPerform, collect and prepare specimens when neededTravel to additional sites as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED or equivalentPhlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
Preferred Qualifications:
6 years or more experience as a phlebotomist3 years or more with phlebotomy managerial or supervisory or team leader experience
Additional Job Standards:
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomistProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testHave a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportationBe at least 21 years' oldAs a Phlebotomy Supervisor you will lead a team of Phlebotomists and directly impact the Patient/Client experience. You will manage and oversee all aspects of our LabCorp patient service centers and designated client locations. This role emphasizes your ability to lead, inspire, and develop others.
