Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-5:30 PM, with possible Saturdays Job Overview We are seeking a Phlebotomist I to support patient service centers and client office locations in the Winston-Salem/Kernersville area. This is a floating position, so flexibility to work at different locations and cover different days is required. Responsibilities Perform blood draws on patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations.
Collect and process urine and stool specimens.
Provide phlebotomy services at both Patient Service Centers (PSCs) and client office locations.
Complete approximately 20-40 draws per day, depending on the assigned location.
Work in both team-based and independent environments.
Support locations that may handle 100+ patients per day.
Be comfortable standing for approximately 80% of the workday.
Provide quality patient service while following established specimen collection and safety procedures.
Support specialty collections, including Endocrinology (Endo) and Obstetrics (OB). Required Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or formal phlebotomy training.
Phlebotomy experience.
Ability and willingness to float between different locations and work schedules.
Strong patient service and communication skills.
Comfortable working with patients across different age groups, from pediatric to geriatric. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Previous floating/coverage experience preferred. Important Requirements Flexibility to cover different locations and days is required.
Candidates must be comfortable with travel throughout the Kernersville area.
Candidates should be open to potential conversion to a permanent position.
