Job Title:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
Location:
Pediatric Outpatient Clinic, Raleigh, NC Job Summary:
Are you passionate about pediatric care? Join our dedicated team at a leading pediatric outpatient clinic in Raleigh! We are seeking a proactive and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to provide exceptional support to our young patients and their families. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Efficiently room patients and ensure a welcoming environment.
Vital Signs Monitoring:
Accurately obtain and record patient vitals in a timely manner.
Immunization Administration:
Administer vaccines for patients aged newborn to 22 years, adhering to the pediatric vaccine schedule.
Infection Control Compliance:
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and proper medication storage practices.
Clinical Procedures:
Perform phlebotomy, injections, and medication conversions with precision and care.
Documentation:
Update and manage patient information accurately in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically using Allscripts.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in a pediatric setting is a must.
Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of the pediatric vaccine schedule and relevant medical protocols.
EMR Familiarity:
Experience with Allscripts is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Availability:
Flexibility to cover occasional weekend shifts as needed.
Screening Requirements:
Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug test prior to employment.
Work Hours:
Full-time position, with hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and occasional weekend shifts as required.
Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
