Job Description

What We Offer Team member is responsible for performing all collection procedures. Team member is responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They will advise and assist in the orientation and training of other personnel on equipment and software, as necessary.
What We're Looking For Education:
High School or GED, required.
Experience:
One year of relevant phlebotomy experience, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
ASCP, ASPT, AMT or NHA (New hire and/or new phlebotomist must obtain certification within 6 months of hire), required. Additional Skills (required): Knowledge of current medical terminology to perform full range of laboratory tasks. Knowledge of medical terminology to communicate with medical staff regarding laboratory procedures and results. Skill in anticipating and reacting calmly to emergency situations. Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, hospital staff and the public.
