Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
- Verify patient information and accurately label specimens
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and ensure proper storage and transportation
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines for infection control
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients during the blood collection process
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist or in a related healthcare role
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and blood collection procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory testing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately label specimens
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
